He never was quite human

Jared David Gassmann

He never was quite human

Which was plain to see at birth.

All we knew is God was being generous

Placing an angel on this earth.

The what’s, who’s, and why’s were never answered

Nobody seemed to care.

As long as he was safe and sound,

He had so much love to share

The years flew by like seconds,

And what a beautiful young man he became.

But because he was so special

Things would never be the same.

His time here on earth was up

And no longer was he to stay.

There was a better place for this angel,

And to heaven, he was swept away.

His lovely face remains timeless.

And his smile always warm,

As he soars above the clouds with angels,

Always protecting him from harm
